Quick study in oils Round tower

Quick Sketch in oils 7" x 5" at Round Tower with https://www.paintanddrawatelier.com/ yesterday. Great few hours and accompanied by the Royal Marines Band next door, who were playing out HMS Prince of Wales as she left Portsmouth for a tour of duty. Limited palette Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red, Titanium White and Lamp Black. Great practice to see the diverse colours from a limited palette. Normally I prefer to mix a black as it has more depth and doesn't create dead areas.
