Mixed Media landscape

Having spent my time focusing on portraiture and life drawing I am now working with mixed media primarily discovering natural subjects, Trees, the sea and wild landscape have always interested me and this is my work using methodology learned from working with Sarah Bee.

My work has been exhibited at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London and at a number of regional galleries and exhibitions.

Working on Board with Soft Pastel, Inktense , conte, charcoal, acrylics and gesso to create texture, shapes over a drawing from life, this work is 30cm by 30cm of a frosty mourning by the stream and the work below is 50cm by 50 cm and  illustrates the view from under the canopy with the sky seen between fronds..
